Hi Guys,

I saw a show called "Sanctuary" on Sci-Fi.com, Episode "Instinct"
about 29 to 30 minutes into it, there is a nice use
of the PRO arm... (actually 2 arms and a termodyne case) Say Eggs...

http://www.scifi.com...0861&eid=874101

Have Fun.

And sorry it can't be watched with a non US IP address... oh well.

Nicely spotted Erwin.

They definitely took advantage of the smoothness and reliability of the arm.

Yeah...

Nothing better then $45'000.- bucks of stabilizing equipment to balance some plastic Eggs....

I was wondering if they borrowed the arms from the operators as they did that particular episode almost exclusively handheld...

Hey erwin,

Steve Adelson here... I directed that episode and it was my homage to the Steadicam and all the good it has brought to my life. One of the arms was mine and the others was jim van Dijk's. Hope u enjoyed the episode. Not too many peeps have picked up on it. Hope ur well...

Congratulations to Steve Adelson...

I was checking out websites and ended up on the Local 669 Union Page:

http://www.ia669.com/

He is nominated for a Gemini Award (Canadian Emmy's, I guess) best direction Dramatic Series for that episode (Sanctuary: Instinct)

Nice job Steve.

Good Luck!
