I ran across this article where two cyclists; one a camera / Steadicam operator were seriously injured in a road rage incident this past weekend in the LA area.

The operator is Christian Stoehr. I don't know him but if anyone here does it sounds like he's pretty banged up and unable to work for a while.

My friend, also a camera operator, rides in that group and told me about it today. Said the police wouldn't charge the doctor, a surgeon. Said there are a bunch of lawyers in the riding club and they are trying to publicize it to force the DA's hand to prosecute the asshole. He has a history of going after cyclists. Psycho.

The update to that story says, they are prosecuting him, what an ASS, I hope he does lots of time for that . . . .

Sweat. I hope he does all five years. I ride in Atlanta and it's scary out there, especially on the Intown roads near me. Hope Christians recovery is going well.
