I looked at and bought a Marshall Sunbright 15" for my jib. Also looked at the 8.4". Affter owning it for a week I've found a few issues that users should know about before buying one of these. First off they are great in full sun. I operated mid-day with no problem even with sun glasses on.
The problem I've run into which I've spoken to Marshall about is the monitor drops frames. You see it when there is motion(panning/zooming). I think it is the frame buffer recycling. Anyways it is about every 24 seconds on the 15" and I was told about every 7 minutes on the 8.4". So far what I've heard from Marshall is the head of the company doesn't think the frame dropping needs to be fixed. Hard to believe a monitor company wouldn't want to fix a problem like this. Can't say I've seen this problem with any production monitor I've worked with.
Anyone else out there own a sunbright?
