Haven't had to have any BNC cables made in several years.

Last time I had a VTR guy on the set make me a handful of them, prior to that I had another operator give me a few when I was at his place. Prior to that, I don't remember anymore where I had them made.

My latest batch made several years ago is now dindling as they start to go bad.

Who makes custom sized BNC cables these days?

I'm looking for the small spaghetti sized cable with right angle BNC connectors on the end and made to be about 18" long.
Obviously will pay a fair price for them.

Anybody got a place or person who can whip me up a few?

Thanks

I've had good luck with ziggy, he's in the electronics department over at clairmont. He's made me some of the cable you are asking for.

Michael,
Terry West in the South Bay does great work . . . .Not the least expensive, but not the worst and will customize everything for you. 310-374-5711

But for the record, $300 worth of tools and 73 ohm spaghetti cable and BNC connectors gets you all the cables you can wan't, you just have to have someone show you how to connect and crimp. The Spaghetti cable takes a little practice but once you get it it's really no big deal.

For ANY cables, check out Jeroen Hendriks at Lexmond Inc. (818) 384-4323 jeroen@lexmond.com
I have made or had made hundreds of cables over the years and Jeroen is one of the best I have used.

HI Michael;

We are one of the few in North America that stock the Canare L1.5C2VS "spaghetti" BNC cable. You can have what ever length you want.

I just picked up some 7ft Canare spaghetti BNC from Emery at Lentequip.....they are much nicer than the Belden cable, which I've been using already...and they seem to fail after short term use, even with proper strain-relief. Fast, reliable service at Lentequip!

Cheers!
