For Sale

Complete Bar Bel ( Baer Bel )custom rig hand built by Markus Bernhardt – almost identical to the custom rig he built for “The Russian Ark” (a feature length film composed of a single steadicam shot).

The rig is perfect for anything from feature film work to sports broadcast – incredibly adaptable sled design.

Virtually indestructible 2” titanium post. (I have seen photos of Markus standing on his posts!) Fully adjustable battery system – fly from 1 to 4 batts.

Master's Elite vest.

Internal spring Bar Bel arm with both heavy Duty springs and regular springs – fly anything from a Bolex to a BL or a video head.

Low mode cage, nice fat 2” gimble, tilt plate, locking stand bracket and Combi stand, LCD monitor, Quick-release AKS plate on battery module, Sony Plate, motor mounts, 4x Anton Bauer Proformer Batts and charger, car/dolly mount, extra battery mount and monitor mount, loads of spares, loads of AKS, even schematics for the electronics...

Markus still fully supports this kit - contact him at http://www.baer-bel.de/

David Hable and Bob Crone in Vancouver (look them up on the forum if you don't know these names) checked it out when I bought it and found it very good.

Only selling as I'm now out of the business - living on the wrong side of a continent on the wrong side of the planet – in Perth Western Australia.

Everything is in pristine condition as you can see if you follow the link below – of course I’ll take specific pics if you want more detail.

Markus feels that a used rig in this good condition is worth 20,000 euro but I am flexible on the price so make an offer.

Complete contents: Sled, Catgriller quick-release plate, dv recorder plate, 4 Anton Bauer Battery mounts, double bracket mount, docking bracket, combi stand, 4 proformer batteries, charger, sony plate, small and 2 large camera plate, several motor mounts, j-bracket, hardmount for attaching to dolly or speed-rail pipe, micky balance tool, Dogcatcher tilt plate, Sushi Server low mode cage, practice cage if wanted (very heavy), arm, masters elite vest, 2 pelican cases, one aluminium hard case for batts and charger, lcd monitor, loads of tools and spare bearings and bolts etc, spare springs for arm and much more.

Absolutely spotless!
The links above don't work any more but just search "bar bel" or "Baer Bel" in the forum and the archived forums and you will find tons of great info on these rigs.
