John Hankammer has had that set-up for maybe 5 years in his truck. It'll hold 1000's of lbs all the way out -- it's really cool. Tuffy makes one too. Will is right, most of my "damage" seems to come from the load/undoad, then at wrap load/unload again!

Great...definitely something for my Blazer! Although I haven't got a Suburban sometimes I actually have to crawl into my truck to get my bags out. And as we all know those fully packed steadicam cases/bags are as heavy as the whole steadicam setup.

It's a pity that this only seems to be available in the US. But I'll think about letting build such kind of appliance. Only depends on the price and the space it uses for itself...

Cheers.

Oh yes, indeed. Thanks Jon! They even have a mounting guide on their website. Will check if it fits my Chevy, cause it's not on their list yet.

Try getting a sheet of flexible plastic from the grips. They usually have it for dance floor. If you get a thicker piece (1/4" or 5/16") then cut it to fit the bed of your truck. Your cases will slide in and out with ease and it will keep your carpet in the bed area clean and damage free.
