I'm sort of scared because I haven't seen it yet, but last year I was invited to come onboard "Reno 911" for an episode to play the personal Steadicam operator of bounty hunter Tommy Hawk, played by Diedrich Bader. I was part of Hawk's reality TV crew, all of whom were wearing various forms of artillery (they outfitted me with a 9mm in a thigh holster as it didn't conflict with the harness!) Hopefully this will all make sense in the episode.

Anyway, it's on Comedy Central tonight at 10:30 (PT).

Old school for me precluded a bandana even if I had been so inclined, Mike--too much "Jewfro" back then!

Congratulations Charles... I think. At least you didn't have to wear that nice cop uniform and the tight shorts.

Sometimes (actually a lot of times) I'm really envious of you guys who get the great film and episodic work on a daily basis as your meat and potatoes. One the other hand, I really appreciate the variety here in Las Vegas especially when it comes to the ladies:

Well, not so much mugging for the camera as it turns out but that was probably a good thing--better to have left the "funny" to the experts (and those guys are REALLY good at improv).

It appears as though Mr. Papert was credited under the alias "Guillame Delouche" interesting...

Thigh holster? You should have had a gun mounted on the steadicam! The camera is just there for aiming.... ;-)

Sorry I missed it. I will have to try to scrounge up a copy of the episode.

Wasn't it? Guillame was the other guy in the Hawk posse; he's the propsmaster on the show and they cast him as Hawk's armorer and since he got a line, he got a credit--why on earth they gave him the Steadicam credit though...?
