here's some worthless advice when meeting contributors who've you only known in a 'steadicam forum' environ prior to a chance encounter in the flesh:

1. don't be drunk
2. don't reference his/her website

It seems that lately I have been meeting a bunch of members of this forum in person at Clairmont Camera. I work on the prep floor as an intern and there has been at least one or more Steadicam operators that come by daily.
