I get asked this all the time so let me make it official. The 1000th BFD shipped today to Robert Barcelona in San Ramon, CA ( a jib operator, can you believe it?).

Having said that, I'm going on vacation for a week before I start on the second 1000.

Do you mean,

What's the BFD?

Just kidding. #142 (I think) is still kickin strong. Even after my BFD assasination attempts by making my own BFD cables.

Thanks for a great product.

What's a BFD?

A BFD is a small remote focus transmitter and receiver used by Steadicam and other types of cameral operators to lure and pose beautiful women next to.

And thanks also for that cable you sent me this week!

Congratulations!

Congrats Jim! Way to go. It just seems like yesterday when you were working at CP and started investigating what operators really wanted in a focus device. You seemed to have found it. Reliability , excellent service, and a reasonable price. No wonder you've sold a thousand of them. The next thousand is just around the corner.

All the best,

Rich Davis
