Wanted to see if anyone would be able to help me out with what the pin setup or the power connector used by Pro is? I'm pretty sure it?s its own proprietary connector. I am probably going to be getting a rig other than the Pro, but would like to have all the power connectors be Pro. It'll make it allot easier to get and use other components.

Jon,

The PRO uses a variety of off the shelf Lemo connectors. Are you just looking to make your upper junction box PRO compatible in terms of video/power ports and camera power? Please be more specific.

Also, as far as used rigs are concerned, I think one of the best deals on the used market is the PRO 1. One of the most reliable sleds ever produced and it is a workhorse. Prices vary as does the ability to upgrade it because there are various versions of the canter post and attached cabling. The junction box uses the same cabling to your accessories as the current PRO II being sold today.

Alec,
Exactly. I was looking to find out about the upper juntion box. video/poer and camera power. I'm in the marked for a rig and if i don't go with a used package I have actually spoken with Brian from actioncam several times and may get a rig from him. He said he could wire the zero-g up like a PRO I just needed to give him the lay out.

Its funny Alec, we have actaully worked on a few shows togther. I gaffed a short dir by Carll Ford that you did some steadi work on. And I keyed a number of shows that Manfred shot you flew on too. Doubt you remeber they were a year or 2 ago.

thier first generation top stage is, as mentioned above, a work horse and a great piece of gear. the donkey box 3 (and top stage) are nothing short of amazing.

I am informed that MK-V has always used the same pins and connectors as PRO on it's sleds with the exception of the inner post cable. So second hand MK-V might be the what you are looking for. I have one of the first MK-V evoloution sleds and it is a great sled very capable, robust, rigid, generally well built and very upgradable.

Hi Erwin, would you happen to have one of these for the lower "D-box" as well?
