Just wanted to post my experience with the Helical antenna. I've been using my Canatrans xmitter with the Hellical antenna from Professional Wireless Systems
http://www.professio...lical/index.htm

The helical works beautifully. Narry a drop out or signal glitch both indoors and outdoors. It's a bit bulky to pack but worth the extra effort.

Are you putting this on the receiving end or on the rig? What receiver are you using?

Hi Lawrence. You can use this to transmit but I'm using it on the receiver end.
I use the CIT diversity tuner. I've used it with my Hermes as well.
I've been really impressed.

Thanks. It's a bit pricey.

Pricey! It's under $1000! That's pretty good for anything associated with Film Industry/Steadicam/Camera Stabilizer/ Production Equipment.......................................or am I just jaded after spending enough money on equipment to build two orphanages in Lower Alabama, fully fund my non existent child's college tuition and provide enough plastic surgery to bring Joan Rivers back from looking like an extra on the set of "CAT PEOPLE". I loved that movie.
