Reduce Your Pain

Check this out!
Move Better, Feel Better, Live Better
Do you want to reduce pain, learn how move more efficiently, have more
energy and live more comfortably? What if you could learn to manage stress
before it becomes pain? Just as the nuances make the difference between a
good film and a great film, there are nuances in your movement that make the
difference between pain and comfort, from call time to wrap, and more
importantly in down time. Join Darcia Dexter Negrin for this course [class]
based on the teachings of Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, who developed a system of
learning using subtle movement with attention and awareness that help you
decrease pain and stress while improving flexibility in your movement.
Darcia Dexter Negrin has over 15 years experience with the Feldenkrais
Method. She has written for the Society of Operating Cameramen magazine and
currently teaches for the Motion Picture Wellness Program. Her private
practice includes a wide variety of clients, from severely injured to high
performance athletes, artists and technicians.
Hey Everyone in LA
I Talked to David and Dan About this at Colin's house and I've decided to put together a
Class with Darcia. Her husband was my first AC on the last show I did. She came out to palm desert and worked on myself as well as the DP. What a difference she made. You must take this class to see for yourself.
The date for this class - June 26th ( Saturday) Let me know morning or afternoon and the majorty wins
Location- Either at Anthony's house or the park by my place in culver city
Any other ideas for location are accepted.
Cost - $120.00 for the group for 1 1/2 hrs.
What to bring - Towel or ferny pad to lay on, rolled up hand towel, and your vest.
I need to know by the nineteenth of June if you can make it so I can lock down the location. please e-mail me by then
My guess is it well be $12 dollars or less per person which I think is more than worth it. If it's more than that I'll cover the over. The more people the better!!

Submitted for perusal, yet another theory and application that is helpful. It's done a lot to help me think about how I do what I do, and why, and how to isolate and improve movement. The Alexander Technique is another approach to using the body more efficiently.
Please share afterwards how this went, and what it is like? I'm very curious.
