Does anyone know of any companies that rent the really light duty rigs. I need to fly a rig with a HVX200...about 6lbs. I'd rather not use a Merlin but a mini or SK2 would be great.

Thanx,

Abel Cine in NY has a Mini for rent, I believe.

AC Inc in Nashville does too.

Hey stud,
Quick fix, Get scrap piece of steal or aluminum about 12-15 lbs. Drill it out to screw onto you plate and pick up a quick release plate for the camera and bingo you have an adapter to work with your rig.

Unfortunately we are expected to do more and more of these gigs with these cameras so I have mine on standby.

Good luck

peace out

We just mount the camera in standard mode in our lowmode cage then stack a barbellweight on top and screw it down. works well and allows adjustment for a variety of small and somewhat small cameras.

My problem is that I've already got my rig out so I don't need a fix (I've got weight plates) I need a rig. I was going to take the two weeks of but got a call to DP an adiddas project and they want a few steadicam shots.

Thanx,
marque
