Check out page 93 of this months American Cinematographer.

Basson has an ad for their rig with such selling features as a built in 3.4 amp/hr LEAD ACID battery and 12v female lighter plugs for power out. They are also proud of offering "Double RCA A/V Out, 12V Minijack, (Polarity + to center)"

One of those things that make you go Hmmmmm

Noticed that myself this morning. Surely that rig bears enough of a passing resemblance to the Masters series to be infringing on one or more copyright laws?

Not copyright, but Design Patent, although I think it's expired by now.

But man looking at that ad you really wonder what they think and what is going thru peoples minds when they read it.

Seriously RCA A/V Inputs and Lead Acid batteries???
