In deference to Brant Fagan and Jerry Holway I am no longer refering to my rig stabilization device as "antlers"

Brant and Jerry have been using the term since 1997 and must be afforded the respect and rights that go along with a trademarked term.

The slight was purely unintentional. Again, my apologies.

I had one particularly wiseass grip department years ago who were fond of calling out "aww, lookit, he's got his training wheels on!" when I would do an Antlers shot...

Given their propensity for hitting directors in the head who approach to closely, dare I suggest....

"Knockers"?

The best part is every time some asks "Why are they called knockers?", you can demonstrate.

Jim "who doesn't love knockers?" Bartell

Reminds me of Young Frankenstein:
Gene Weilder: "Nice Knockers!"
Teri Garr: "Why thankyou."

Score 2 for knockers.
