Who are the Black Operators out there. I know they're few like myself but who are they and where are they and what productions have they worked on and most importantly,to me, pictures. I dont mean to offend anyone but, I'd just like to know. Thanks

Why the "minority" in the topic?

Really I don't understand, It's only a minority if YOU make yourself a minority.
I am the only white guy here with a Steadicam in yellow Thailand, but i don't see myself as a minority operator!

Please let's not look at the color!
If you are an operator with a good heart, a good will, a drive for this profession, this artform of operating (as i still like to see it) , I value and look at you as that, nothing more, your color does not make any difference to me, whether you are Indian, Dutch, Ghanees, Mongolian, Thai, Apache, whatever!

Why? Really what difference does it make? You are either a Steadicam Operator or not, doesn't matter what color you are

No, it doesn't matter, but in a clearly white male dominated position, I think it's an interesting question as is, who are the female operators. I'm a huge hockey fan, also dominated by white males, and I think it's really cool to see black hockey players - go Mike Grier!

An operator is an operator I agree. I have the heart and the will to be a great operator one day. :D Yes i'm apart of a Majority but it's hard to explain why I want to know but it's no big deal just personal. I'm just happy to be apart of this. I LOVE THIS GAME!!!! :D No worries though Its all good. I just feel blessed and thankful that I do what do and love it. Who else besides US can say they love to going to work and truely love there job.
Eric, the pink skin comment is funny.

I thought steadicam operators who have their rigs all paid-off were the minority!

In that case, I'm a minority.
And I spell my name like Trieb too..
