Hey Ivan,

Let me start off by saying this is my own personal opinion other peoples mileage may vary.
I think that aside from doing all the groundwork ie... ( taking a workshop, researching and acquiring the proper gear which SUITS YOU AND YOUR NEEDS and taking the time to practice so you are confident and comfortable in the rig ) the most critical requirement for having a good day is a positive outlook. Unbridled optimism is your best friend. Every shot is a new adventure that needs to be solved. Look for the challenge
in everything no matter how mundane or silly it may seem. Make it fun, be positive, upbeat and smile.

I?ve talked to, listened to and watched Larry McConkey on many occasions and he is always truly excited about everything. His optimism is infectious. He makes you want to get on board with what he?s doing.
Aside from being one of the greatest operators he?s a great motivator and that energy and excitement rubs off on all those around him.

I?m a dark cynical person by nature so it?s always a challenge for me to show up on location as
?the glass half full guy ? but on the days that I do the drive homes that night are always better.

PS Getting rid of the pesky tapeworms also makes for a good day
