Looking into investing in these two units during the summer. Hava anyone had any problems using these two systems together. The BarTech is non-existing here in Norway. Only ARRI and Preston is here.

Thanks for any helpful hints

Lars,

Don't know of any known issues. I run BarTech's now and my "boxx" system is being made. I'll let you know when I get it if I find any problems.

Hi Lars,

As the BOXX uses 2.5GHz and above and the BFD is 900 MHz, there should be no problems at all.

Mark,

I ordered "The-Boxx" and still have about 2 weeks till I receive it.

They come in all different configurations and I was quoted these ball park prices (I don't have the email in front of me but these are what I remember)

NTSC / Composite $3200

Component $5000

SDI $5200

HD-SDI $5200

You can get some cables that will work with different steadicams but I am going to custom make the one that I need because this is more of a broadcast news ENG system and not really made specifically of steadicam, but I'm going to give it a shot.

I'll let you know when I get it.
