Due to a very well intentioned (and slightly less well informed) loader placing the order to replace a couple BNC cables that were damaged on a recent job, Im now the proud owner of these:

Im considering calling them *Extend-a-Barrels* or perhaps *BNSee if you can find a use for these*

Keep them so next time a director upsets you asking for a nonsense shot or asks you to "pan down" :  you take one BNSee out and just go Christian Bale with that cable. Extra points using your teeth on that cable. Please tell me they cost a fortune to build.

Frederic that’s a great idea. Reminds me of years ago when an assistant I knew came across some glass panes that looked identical to 6X6 filters. He would occasionally pull one out of the filter case and smash it just to freak out a new 2nd...

If it had a regular fitting on one end, I'd call it a "Rat Tail" which would be used for moving a commonly unplugged BNC from inside a wet weather bag for example.

This? I'm not sure how I'd use it...
