I have found a few posts on here with people asking about modifying the ProVid CRT to show 16:9 images. It seems the consensus was a variable pot inside? Has anyone managed to build in a switch to theirs? or is it a case of take the monitor apart and tweak it everytime?

It's something I'm going to look into, I think it's possible, and hopefully will be an easy(ish) mod to complete, but I'll leave that to the experts ;)

Ya it would be easy to add for those electronically inclined.

get 2 variable pots ( same resistance of resistor in the monitor, or the same value of the pot on the inside)
wire the switch to switch between the 2 pots and calibrate each to the desired aspect ratio.
