Hi all;

As I finally look to upgrade the 4k cameras seem to have HD-SDI outputs.

So my question is, any compatibility issues with current LCD monitors and 4k cameras?

Like everyone when I finally make a purchase I'm trying to avoid it being obsolete soon.

Very few cameras actually output a 4K signal, and all those cameras (and future cameras) will output HD for at least another 5 years or so.

Then we will simply convert down or upgrade our monitors.

I dare say like many HD (broadcast) cameras that can switch between SD/HD SDI, they'll be HD/4K switchable outputs when that time comes. Life left for current monitors for sure!
