Here is my problem.

I have centered the top stage on the post.

I have centered the bottom stage on the post.

Now its time to align the gimbal so that the glide is level. Problem is when i spin the pan axis it falls out of balance again. Can someone tell me please where the defect is in the gimbal?

how do i troubleshoot to find if the roll axis is the problem or the pan?
