Hello Everybody,

finally have my hands on the BM Video Assist.. it nice and compact. Feels better constructed as Atomos (very plastic) , but it is little heavier then the Atomos recorders.

My intention is to use it as onboard recorder. :D

Don't forget to get HD-SDI cables with 1.0/2.3 connectors!

We can make those:

I know Alan,

what I am more interested is the power cable for the unit. I think it has the same connector as the HyperDeck ..

It is the same. I'm going to see if I could fit a Lemo jack in its place when I get one. I'm also thinking about building a cage for it.

Still making these for the assist?

Can you wire up one with a P-TAP?

Cheers,

Marc

Hi, Marc. I replied to the email that you sent to us. Most of the link addresses changed when we moved our server. The correct links are now:

https://mediablackou...ex-hd-sdi-cable - The Video Assist uses male DIN 1.0/2.3 connectors

https://mediablackou...rel-power-cable - The Video Assist uses 2.5mm DC barrel connectors
