Looking for a camera crane that will allow me to pan/tilt camera while on boom.

Where can I get one for less then 1,000?

Help please!

If it's for a one-time project, you might want to look into renting a crane w/ a remote head. You could probably come in below $1k that way.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any cranes w/ remote heads that you could own for $1,000. I know a couple people that have made their own, but unless you're really handy like that, it's not an easy task.

You could always do it the real old fashioned way. Get a crane and a ladder of equal height. Not ideal, but it works.

yeah, it doesn't have to be a motorized head.

I have seen this setup but don't know if it any good.

Try the EZ FX jib, although you'll never get something that cheap. The only jib I know of that is so inexpensive is the Cobra Crane, and let's just say that you ge twhat you pay for. The EZ FX is suprisingly smooth for the cost.
