I was wondering is some of the east coast steadicam operators (or anyone at all) would like to get together on Sept 20th or 21st. These are the dates of the New York Cine Equipment show so i thought some of you might be in town.

I am a Philly boy so i am not sure what would make for a good venue, but i think it would be a good opportunity to mingle in a non internet format.

Anyone interested?

Gents--

Sounds like an opportunity for a get together.

I would love to show off the ACME Gimbal as well. See below...

Count me in as long as my shoot in Boston doesn't run over...

Best,

Cool, we finally get to see the Acme Gimbal!

Looks very nice, Brant. Congratulations.

One thing--you might want to check the spelling of your company name...!

Hi Charles,

According to some very hush hush information that I've gleaned from offhanded comments and fragmented articles sprinkled across the Internet, Brant has been working on a new and amazing "Secondary 'O' " system. The word on the street is that once all of the Beta Testing has been completed, The newly improved and highly versatile " Secondary 'O' " will be inserted into it's proper place and we will once and for all be able to enjoy the fully-fleshed name of his company as it's meant to be shouted from rooftops and sung out in a clear joyoux voice :

Missing Something? Technologies, LLC

Gents--

It is with great joy that I receive this announcement of my ability to FINALLY have a typo on this Forvm!

I know that many of you have made this journey before but I can assure you I am worthy to follow this path to enlightenment.

I am truly pleased that so many of you have read this post; with such attention to detail and perfection! I am moved.

But seriously, who might be attending this potential gathering? Which day(s)?

Let's plan something...

Best,

Brant

I should be there both days, hanging around the Arri booth demoing the 235 on my rig. Come by and say hi (with the ginbal of course, Brant). So, if anyone wants to see a 2" XCS post, XCS gimbal, GPI PRO DB3, Jerry Hill's battery base, PRO arm, the newest Klassen harness, or a Bartech with M-1, come by and take a look. Of course, if you have not seen the 235 yet, you should. With luck, we'll have the new 400' Steadicam mag designed for it there too.

Cheers,

I am also scheduled to be there- doing Steadicam Flyer demo on the 20th. If we get together that evening, I'd be delighted to participate !

Best to all, hope to see many friends there.

Gents--

As luck would have it, I am scheduled to be shooting in NYC on 9/20 at a location to be determined today, Monday, 9/19.

At this time, I do not know what our wrap time might be...

However, I will let people know later today where I will be. Perhaps a set visit?

More details later.

Best,

Brant "Spellcheker" Fagan

Excellent. I will be-amazingly- moving from booth to booth with the Steadicam Flyer, showing the rig for different groups.

Like Alec, not hard to find wearing a rig !! Someone stop by and lemme know where we're meeting up. It would be a true pleasure to sit and dine with everyone.

Yes, beers afterwards would be good. Tues is better for me because I have to wait around and get my gear out on wed night (ugh... convention centers....). Then I'm stuck with a car full of gear in NYC. Yuk.

See ya there...
