I sent 3 m-one motors to be repaired two years ago;I have call, send e-mails and nothing;now I want my motors back,I don't care the conditions, only that I want is to have my motors back!!!!
Why nobody talk about this crazy situation with a provider like this,it looks that MK-V is more easy to be attacked....

Ps: I sent two CP motor for be refurnished 3 years ago or more....I'm really angry!!

Maybe Jim can chime in with the guy's location and we can all go pay him a visit?

Should be easy to spot. Go to Google Maps, use the satellite imagery of Montana, and look for the pile of M-One motors in someone's back yard next to the pile of opened UPS boxes. Don't like 20 people total live in Montana, shouldn't be too hard.

Not having owned an M1 I did not realize he was in MT...someone there should go pay him a visit. We should not let people get away with this crap!

Juan

Sadly with not only the time that has lapsed but also the distance and legal details you're probably left with only declaring a loss on your taxes.

The perpetrators always know what they can get away with and also may just stubbornly unresponsive even if you showed up on the doorstep.

Lastly, he may/probably say hey I tried but there aren't parts any more to fix them so not my fault. I know I had similar conversations with same motors and a different vendor who was attentive.

You might take personal project to make sure this person doesn't do this to others but even that has "legal" discussions.

To be safest just let it go and let this guy to a fate from a higher power.

Trust me he ain't sitting around worrying about you, so why waste your life a minute longer on his?

If you do get them back, we reproduced the most prone to fail component so more than likely, I can fix it for you.

Pete.

I recently sent an M1 to Don and got it back in 2 months as opposed to 2 weeks which is what he had promised. I don't know how old Don is but I'm under the impression he's becoming very forgetful. I don't think his actions are deliberate or based upon lack of parts etc.

let's stop cutting him slack. Yes, he produced a good motor and we all love to use it coupled with our trusted BFDs. but did you ever heard someone talking about Jim Bartell like this? absolutely no! because he is a honest guy while Don is not!

We all payed for the motor and we are prepared to pay for the service as well, this makes the motor our propriety.letting people send him their motors to repair and not sending them back is not so much different than stealing them. In my book Don is a crook despite the fact that m-one is a good motor.

i wonder how many M-ONEs are liying around in his basement? perhaps he melted all down in order to make an iron throne or something.
