I am wondering if anybody else has had problems with the Aja10MD3 on the Red Epic. I am using a RGB cable from Aja to HD 7 pin Lemo  input on the Ultra I and never had problems with the Alexa but on the Epic I am occasionally losing picture on my monitor.

(Note: Some of the times I lost images was during a outdoor shooting scene with over 100 rounds shot)

Let me know if you have experienced similar problems and solutions, suggestions.

Is the Decimator 2 a better option on the Red Epic or the loss of images on the monitor could be something else?

Thanks in advance,

Marcio

Have you had the issue on multiple epics? It could also be a camera problem.

I use a decimator 2 and haven't had any issues with any cameras. I don't have any experience with the Aja box you have though.

Thanks for the reply.

No that was the first time I used on the Epic since I purchased the Aja I will try on other Epics and see how it goes.

The good thing to know is that there is no issues with the decimator 2 on the Epic so I might buy a decimator 2 to have in my kit just in case.

Thanks again,

Marcio
