Mmmm.... compression springs? I suspect there might be some patent issues here.

Hi Nikolay

My name is Andrea Falcucci and I'm the SmartSystem CEO and the mechanical engineer who designed the SmartCAM Arm. I'd like to reply to the post but the forum tells me that I can't reply to this topic. I'd like to tell the SmartCAM Arm X1 has compression springs but no patent has been used. We use compression springs in a completely different way giving to the user the possibility to change the dynamc response of the arm from quasi-isoelastic to totally reactive simply turning a screw.

Thank you so much

I see that this is the Arm Lorenzo bought directly from us. We can offer for free (shipping excluded) a total check up of the arm in order to grant the perfect functionality.

Andrea

Life is short. Buy a tiffen or Pro arm and worry about something else.

Sometimes being open to the world is a nice think....

This arm is very well made and is such a bargain for someone that need just that .

I would buy it if I had the possibility ,it is just not the right moment for  me.
