Hi folks, today I was doing a test with a friend sled and he has a Hummingbird monitor. I noticed the lamination in the screen is starting to come un done and from the area where the 4pin xlr connects on the side of the unit, there is a type of clear goo oozing from the monitor, super sticky.

Anyone ever experience this?

The optical bonding on the screen has failed.  Not much you can do but replace the screen.

Copy that, Thanks Chris, I'm gonna take him my Gen 1 so he can see the advantages of upgrading.
