Apparently Tim has wisely locked the "Nigera scams" topic since it had pretty much degenerated into a mud slinging match. I would have responded to the most recent work of fiction but it is entirely pointless. By now everyone should have a pretty clear understanding of who they are dealing with, which was entirely the point. My (non-fictional) record stands for itself, as does Steve's.

Stand by for Steve's declaration of victory.....

Hopefully Tim has also Banned Byro from this site, his threats and attitudes are unwelcome

While we are on the subject of character and reputation, let me thank you Jim for fixing my damaged cable so quickly. I got it last week, as promised, as usual at minimal cost.

My BFD antenna broke off due to it being dropped.
I gave it to Jim at Dalt's during Cinegear. He took it, fixed it and returned it in no time at all. Very Fast turn around!

Thank you for continuing the amazing customer service you've always provided Jim!

I've heard of Jim showing up on set minutes BEFORE a BFD is dropped, with replacement parts in hand. Interestingly, it was always just before lunch was called. Coincidence? You make the call.

Steve, you're nothing if not predictable.

And since you are, I prepared a response to your last work of fiction. To avoid bothering anyone who is tired of this I posted it elsewhere.

Well done Jim.

Steve, I will be in Chicago this weekend, I would be happy to save you the shipping on Johns sled and pick it up.

If you don't want to return the sled then you should just leave and not post here. EVERYONE knows your game steve. 32 Manuafactures makes "Steadicams" and it's a well know term for a camera Stabilizer in the industry. One person has the name "Steve Bryo" and in the steadicam industry it's a well know term for "THIEF"

The Jig is up, Stick a fork in you your done, Snap, Game Over

There's the door, don't let it hit you on the ass

Steve,

Beyond all other issues, last year we went back and forth on the question of John's sled and you stated that in the interest of fairness, good business and general hatchet burying, you would return the sled to him. There was even a time & date set. But you did not do this and never offered a reason why. So setting aside all other differences, it has become rather difficult for anyone on this forum to trust you. I for one had thought "Hey, the guy is trying to clear the air here--maybe thi is not all so bad," but then the sled was not returned.

I'm not going to get into the argument as to whether you owe John the sled or he owes you money. I'm just noting that at one point you said that you would give it back and then you did not. Please respond to this and perhaps there is a chance of moving forward.
