Hi

I do own a set of second hand lenses zeiss CP 1  with a PL connector  (PL Mount Lens  with a long base (>14mm)    )

I'd like to use with a Canon c 500 EF with EOS connection.

any advice about the best PL to EOS adaptor but that it works with a long base PL ?

thank you

Ariel

So this is my first post, but I've tested the KCW Adapters before.

They're great adapters and they do make one that'll fit the longer base. However I wasn't able to get them to focus correctly with primes, although I was using superspeeds and not CP.1s and was on a 5D. I got two of the lenses to fit, but they only worked as Macro lenses (like adding an exstension tube).

They worked great on all the zooms I tested though and are affordable to rent.

Thank you Jake,

sorry about my late reply I was too busy till now.

I do own an adapter but it works only for short base PL...

does exist a solution to use lenses with PL long base with 5d ?

I think you would have to remove the mirror to allow for deeper PL base lenses. Hot Rod Camera offers this service: http://www.hotrodcam...ed-cameras.html
