Hello All!

My name's Mark (obviously). Cool community - I hope to learn a lot!

I hope I don't make anyone mad for asking such a "newbie" question, but I'm a film student and I'm looking at purchasing a stabilizer under $300 and I would love some advice...?

I have a Canon 6D, and so far I've been looking at the Wondlan Elfin, SteadyDSLR, Opteka's Steadyvid Pro, Lensse's DSLRPro. I saw negative comments on the near DIY-quality "Sturdycam" on this board while lurking, but I thought the horizontal pole-weights actually seemed like a good idea to minimize Z-axis rolling (kinda like a tight-rope walker's weighted pole).

If anyone has any advice for which one I should buy, please let me know!

Thanks for your time and consideration all!

Mark

Hi Mark

Please dont take this the wrong way.. but I think that you have to search in other forums to get advice..
The steadicam forum is primarily focused on high-end ( more expensive ) Rigs..

best regards
