This is our newest Monopod just out of the shop.  The next ones to go out will have a Delrin sleeve mounted on the bracket.  The 'foot' is a replaceable screw-in piece.  Post is 1.5" anodized aluminium, bracket .75" anodized aluminium.  This particular Pod is for a 2" post and a 2 7/8" docking ring.  You'll wonder how you ever worked without one!!

Price is $485.00 USD plus shipping & handling.

Have you considered making the bottom/foot area contoured to the same shape/dimensions of a junior pin, or however the base of a C-stand that pins into a turtle base? Might give another option for people who are short on space/area? Along with the rubber nub, be able to drop it into a turtle base quick and easy. Just thinking out loud.

Do you operate off this thing in a "SteadiStatic" or is it for your spotter to hold onto and pass you over between shots to rest up?

Is it compatible with the Hill dock rings?

Hi guys, William, no I hadn't thought of that.  So, your thought is a kind of stand that the Monopod could sit in?

Thomas, yes, it's for resting, talking to DP, director, assistant, actor...between takes.  As for the Hill bracket, basically the diameter of the inset has to match the diameter of your docking bracket.  It sits down and is safely held...it can't come out unless it's lifted out.

Brett, I'll post an image with my rig in the pod if you like...

I've recently received the new monopod from Tim and what a difference in design and manufacturing to the "Moses Pole".

A much better quality overall, thanks!
