Hi all,

I put a little video together with a few shots I did on a movie in 2012 with the Alexa. There's some slow moves, low mode and a crane step off in it which I'd like to show you. I already posted it on The Steadicam Group on facebook: https://www.facebook...51220513606629/

Here's the direct vimeo link:

Please let me hear what you think about the single shots!

Best,
Fabian

hi,
I'm also a very new to this but I think there are some shots which don't necessarily require steadicam or other said do not reflect your skillz in steadicam, f.e. the scene with the girl walking to her father is more a less just a pan from left to right.

but it's just my humble opinion :)

Thanks for your input! Well I wanted to make a different video this time as in my last reel most of the shots were pretty fast, running shots, etc...
So this was supposed to be a slower video, in parts, as slow moves are more difficult. I know, the shots at the bed could have been done with a dolly or slider - But they wanted it with Steadicam and I think it looks nice.. :)

And the girl walking to the father - I was arcing around that table you can't really see. Starting on the right and when she was going to him I had to exactly do the opposite move and end up in the front of the table. I linked a pic so you might see what I mean...

Thank You for mentioning that, therefore other's opinions are so important cause I'll never watch it objectively...
