Go see this movie. It was totally fucked up, but had some great scenes and terrific steadicam.

That's great to hear (both beautiful Steadicam and fucked up). I was a huge fan of "The Assassination of Jesse James...", and have looked forward to Andrew Dominik's next offering for a while!

http://www.theasc.co...tly/page1.php#. Not much about the steadicam here but some really interesting stuff about lighting effects and manipulation of old panavision lenses. Lots of great lo fi lighting solutions! I don't mean to gush too much, but I think this film was so visually creative.

Hi Michael, thanks for the comments!

It was a great film to work on.
Greig Fraser is a fantastic DP and really is a master at capturing things in a beautifully poetic way.

I did use my AR for most of the movie (Grieg loves it) but stripped the rig down to normal Steadicam mode for a few scenes such as the guys entering / the interior and exiting the card game holdup.

Pics to come..!

AJ.
