I have two KS-8 Kenyan Gyro's and was thinking about running just one on my Zephyr with the Epic. is it better to use a single gyro mounted on the camera or on the bottom of the sled?

The KS-8 is a pretty heavy gyro. I would mount it at the bottom, to avoid the rig getting very top heavy.

I have no experience with your sled and it's weight distribution but I would suggest to mount the gyro either at the top with a striped down Epic or if your sled gets to top heavy just underneath the gimbal.
