Does anyone has something that would work for hard mounting a Zephyr to the back of a truck for this coming Wednesday 17th?
If you also have any harness/safety line as well...

Anyone?
The shoot ended, and I did it in soft mount. It worked but I'm still wondering about a hard mount for the big small rig (zephyr)

I am also wondering the same thing. Had to do a softmount the other day as well. Is there any decent options out there to purchase?

Hey Samuel, Soft mounting is when you sit in the back of a vehicle with your steadicam attached to a vest, and hard mounting is when the arm is attached to the vehicle itself with something like this http://www.tiffen.co...emnum=800-7900.
Hard mount is preferred because much safer.

That link didn't work, let's try again: http://bit.ly/TVewWx
and here is a demo video of an ATV with a hard mount (notice the operator doesn't wear a vest):
