Hey everyone,

I've uploaded a few shots of my work with my Steadicam Merlin 2 so far. Although it feels balanced when I move it side-to-side and forward and back, when I walk (even though I feel I'm going slow and straight), I'm getting a forward-to-back wobble and was hoping someone could help diagnose the issue.

I've read the instructions, played around, etc... Just can't seem to achieve that 'perfect balance'. Of course, I know the operator is to blame for some of this and I'll keep practising! Any suggestions would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Steadicam Wobble

Thanks,

Cam

Hi Cameron
Try reducing the drop time/bottom weight. As per the setup DVD this should be around 1 second, too much weight on the bottom will make it swing around.
