Just read in Film & Digital Times (one of my favorite mags to read) that Transvideo just introduced new circuitry called the VirtualHorizon2, which supposedly still reads out an accurate horizon, while the camera is moving! Holy $# !£.

When I used to ask other operators if this existed, I would normally hear something like, "ha, nope, but if you were to invent one of those circuits, you'd be a rich man."

In the article, it said Transvideo had it on display at NAB. Of course I read this after I had already left the show.

Anyone get a chance to check it out? Can it be true? Did Transvideo "crack the code"?

HD 6 SB evo model can be upgraded, needs some board change, but it's not yet available.
