Just found this on the good 'ole Craig's List. Stuff like this is why I haven't been there in a year. But this one is written so that it seems to be a parody of itself. I'm still laughing and thought I'd share.

Looking for a steady cam operator for a Music video that is heavy in visual effects. Operator needs to OWN a steady cam that will hold a RED One 2k, and be very familiar with the RED. Needs to have flown the RED before, it is heavy, and almost all our shots are with steady cam, so they really need to know how to fly a RED. Please submit reel via internet link. Would be helpful if operator also new how to pull focus from both the RED, and from a REMOTE Pull FOCUS.

Location: Los Angeles
it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests
Compensation: $200 a day

It almost seems like a bad imposter spy gag from a tv show: "Greetings, film creators! I'm seeking a SteadyCamera operateur who is well versed in flotating a RED Won 3K motion picture camera. You must also pull your own rack focus while levitating EXPERIENCED INDIVIDUALS ONLY!"

Where is it? I'll throw in the Handsfree system, a Boxx HD transmitter for "video village" and bring my own meal and Blank VHS for the copy of the finished product, you know.....to be professional.
