I was flying an Alexa with prompter last night on a shoot with Heidi Klum.

There was no room for my dock at position 1 so I'm standing there with the rig while she runs through the read in rehearsal.

Suddenly she stops, looks at the Director and says "let's go over to the dock so Robert doesn't have to stand there holding the camera". :D :D :D :D

What a sweetheart! I've never had that happen before without asking for it myself.

Robert

So she thought you were red in the face and sweaty because you were holding the rig, huh? :-)

That's cool. Class act. Never met her, but nice to know. I love it when people are true professionals and care about the people around them.

I agree Robert,
She is one of my favorites . . . . .

I worked with her on the original Tyra Show and on Victoria Secrets fashion show when she hosted, way big fun every time I get to play around her.

Put her in the sled, it makes for a great picture!

I've had similar experiences with her, she's one of the good ones! Too bad we can't get all the little 20 year olds that do all the episotic to take a lesson.

of course it saved your ass -- you are flying stuff that's way too heavy (and safe)!
