Ok so i'm getting a bit lost in regards to understanding all the cable names for steadicams.
Yes i know what an XLR and bnc are ! but their cam cables.

Could anybody please list the cable type, use and aprox price (not important).

Cam cables??? Camera run cables? You need to be a little more specific.

I just wana know all the names of any type of cable that could be used on a steadicam. So if i ever get asked for one i'l know what i'm talkin about. I see really thin cables and all sorts of names floatin about the forums. Their carn't be that many dif types can their ?

cheers (I don't own my own rig yet so bare with me, perhaps all will become clear when i have got and been flying my rig longer).

This begs for a poll: How many different cables do you have in your kit? I'm betting there are at least a few members of this forum with more than 100. I'm talking EVERY cable in the kit. I bet Larry has more than 1000!

I bet I have close to 200 cables, this is including spares ofcourse. Jeez, I don't know maybe more maybe less. I will count them sometime. Now I'm curious.

Hmm.. ok, so only had the Flyer for just over a month.

Cable count (that's cables for the rig) is curently 9. - 11 If you count the ones hardwired to my tally.
But that is with a transmistter as only accersory and video cameras only.

Mitch: Do adapters count?

No way, that's a separate count. After a few years you should have a tin full of several handfuls of adapters.
