Hello fellow New York owner/operators,
What insurance companies do you use to cover your gear? I am looking for a good policy with relatively decent rates.
Thanks a lot!

While I'm not in New York (well, not on your end of New York!), I have a policy through Walter P. Dolle.

The rates are reasonable, and it has full replacement value cost, coverage for any equipment I might rent, and you can even get rental reimbursement (if your gear goes down, it'll cover a certain amount of equipment rental until you repair or replace yours). You can also pick up general liability insurance if you would like it.

WP Dolle seems to be the way to go. Great insurance and great service. i think you will find they are who most people on here use. i also recently purchased some event insurance from them and am applying for a life insurance policy and their prices are the lowest i have found.
