Athens 12-13/3/2011

A 2 days workshop has taken place for the
first time in Greece at 12 and 13 March 2011.
MC Manios and Tiffen organized this event.
It was very helpfull and exciting. We work with
tiffen's steadicam pilot, the new scout
and the new zephyr models.
The Educator was Tiffen's technical sales man
Jame Elias with support of Sales manager Kevan Parker
who were very polite and able to answer any questions.

The steadicam pilot had the SD monitor,
the scout also has the new SD monitor
which is the same with Zephyr SD monitor
and the Zephyr has an amazing vest,
excellent arm and the HD monitor.
For indoors shooting all the monitors
was excellent but outdoors all of them
wasn't good enough.

For the story 9 people have participicated but only
4 already had a steadicam. One has the Flyer LE and the other
three the pilot model. I am trying to collect money for
the zephyr but i will wait a little more. Most of them
work only with weddings and other ceremonies and only me and
another one we work with broadcast camera and big models.

The event was very organized and in my opinion very helpful to
learn better how the steadicam works. Plus it is a good opportunity
to have a try at the new steadicam models.
If you have any oportunity to take a workshop don't miss it.

At the end we received a steadicam t-shirt and the bronze "wings" of steadicam.
Mr Elias said that tiffen doesn't believe at any diploma or something
and from now on the steadicams workshop participators will receive that "wings".
For Bronze workshop are from Bronze, for silver workshop are from silver and
for gold workshops are from gold.
