Just wondering has anyone got any of the free sign up codes for the exhibition... I have gotten some but have lost track of them and realized I had better sign up soon. Thanks for any help.

Try EM06. NAB themselves sent me that one and it worked for me. Hope to see you there.

I didn't even use a code; I just clicked the "I've attended NAB previously" and used the account I've used before to attend. Immediately offered me free access to the exhibits.

I did that too, and when it took me to a page where it wanted me to pay for things I just quit the process. A few days later I got my badge in the mail. :P

We've all made bad decisions, and we've all learned from them. Others will give some ideas, but here's my hardest learned: no matter how appealing the prices look, stay away from the Circus Circus.

Oh, and strippers don't actually like you...

Book your hotel through the NAB site and you'll get a good deal. Also, I always get one on near the Monorail so I don't have to drive or mess with taxi's to get to/from the convention center.

Yep.... what the boys said... monorail is great, but gets a bit packed and then there are the buses also... as far as NAB its self, plan ahead and get a game plan together on what and who you want to see. Plan for at least an half hour at booths of interest and about an hour at your main stops. I think, operators night will end up on Tuesday again, but I'm sure there will be an official invite posted or just drop by the Tiffen booth and say hello.

Strippers DO like your cash... and never hit on the hired help!

See you there!

Hey Jim... how bout an unofficial operators night at the strip club?!?! Posted Image

Looks like they are taking the badge scanning at this one to a whole new level:

Radio frequency identification (RFID) Radio frequency identification (RFID) badge scanning technology will be utilized at the NAB Show in order to better understand attendee interests and preferences. The information collected will be used to improve future events to better address your preferences. No personal information is stored in the RFID badge, only an ID number. We encourage all participants take part in this process to ensure the most accurate data is obtained. However, if you choose to opt out of this exciting new program, please either call the official NAB Show RFID partner, Alliance Tech, at 1-877-734-3669 or simply bring your badge on site to Assisted Registration to have your badge reproduced without the RFID tag. Should you have any additional questions about RFID, please contact Alliance Tech at 1-877-734-3669.
