Saw this on Engadget and thought I'd share.
Instead of carrying around a pair of uncomfortable cleats if the job terrain calls for.
They've got different variations of the product as well.

Curious... but then we all don't have an excuse to carry a pair of cleats in the trunk for the ladies!
In all seriousness though, I wonder how "loose" those things get after a few hours of use.

The few times that I have used mine I was very happy with the way they functioned. I was able to do a running shot on ice and felt totally comfortable doing it. I wore them over a pair of boots.

Seconded. I'm a wimp on ice and I felt very comfortable in them.

I used them for years at the X-Games standing on top of the ice ramp for winter freestyle Moto-X and they work pretty well, better than anything else on the market.

just don't pivot with them or you'll blow your knees out!!!

might be stating the obvious but...

I bought my rig from a operator that was working for NFL films and was wearing cleats and during a whip/body pan type maneuver the cleats dug in and his body keep twisting....3 surgeries and 3 years later he was holding onto hope to operate again but he finally picked up the phone and called me to see if I was still interested in his gear.

I was doing a football scene awhile back with cleats(it was muddy cuase the director liked it like that) and always on the back of my mind....
