But they DO WARN YOU with the following remark:

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE VIDEO DURING THE CHANGE FROM ONE TO POSITION TO ANOTHER BECAUSE IT WILL BE OUT OF BALANCE.

Just like an erector set! I bet I could reassemble that thing into a pretty badass steam shovel... I need it to be quieter than the real thing though

I guess that's why Pablo isn't concerned about the fact it sounds like a Sherman tank with transmission issues, because the rational of the motorized cage is to re-position the camera only...what a unique concept. Why bother spending the big bucks for the AR system? Hell, if I'm shooting MOS....and I get my timing right, I could keep a reasonable horizon on moves maybe one in ten times...no worries!

I'll a little concerned with the text at the end of the video.

"To begin try with short term shootings, more or less two minutes"

Is that so you can be long gone before the cops arrive. Brilliant!

And oh yeah, that thing is gross. :D

You're right Charles, Our real hero has been on top of my chart until yesterday, when I fell in love with this guy's sunglasses "V" style and an all new way of flying......
Although is clear that is just an attempt to steel our real Hero it's undisputed and long deserved first place. It won't last I'm afraid, as all fashion does, there's much more than a pair of sunglasses to ride the wave....
This is classy

Please people for the love of god stop buying this crap

When I was first looking at buying my rig I came across them, and it's because of this forum I didn't give Basson a second thought...

Now when I see them pop up on this forum from time to time I laugh, but cringe to think at what I would have wasted my money on had it not been for the forum!

The same goes for me...

Thank god I didn't go for the Movcam rig, when i was to decide what to buy.
Although Movcam seems like it's all there - it's really just some "cheap" knock off crap.
I tried it for about 10 minutes at IBC last weekend, and that was more than enough :-)
