Damn! $600 for 6 feet! I'm in the wrong business.
Sounds like you own one. Any issues with the cable?

Thanks Rob.

I own two of them, and since you mentioned it, I had the same cable, two separate weekends, closed in the lid of my Storm Case by the TSA literally a loop hanging out of my case and they forced the latches closed, I thought for sure it was useless, it was literally flat, I figured well it's glass and its got to be broken . . . . so I used my back up while I fought with the airlines and the TSA, then one day two weeks later I decided to test the damaged cable seeing that it had come back to round shape in the damaged area and well, I am still using it, I had it tested by our engineers at the show and they said it was putting out full strength and I am still using it today . . . .!! so I guess they are way tougher than I gave them credit for.

Apparently the ends are the most expensive part at $200 a piece so I'm told.
