I am rebuilding my HB arm and would like to know the size of the pin on the arm that the gimbal handle sits on. I thought it was 16mm(about 5/8") but someone told me it wasn't. I'm hoping this is the standard size for all. Care to verify this? Thanks.

Hi Charles,

5/8 or 0.625" is correct...but in reality it is slightly smaller
I just Cap'ed mine out to 15.8mm or 0.622 inches

Verified on both PRO D-bracket post and my standard post on my 3A arm
fits both my XCS and 3A gimble.
There ya go!

Good luck!

Thank you Charles ( cool name ;) ). So, if I make the gimbal hole at 16mm and then use a screw, on the gimbal hole, to lock arm pins with a smaller diameter, it should then do the trick. This way it'll work with all sizes of pins as long as the pins are not more than 16mm in diameter. Sounds logical? <_<
