Would I be able to fly the Sony XD with my SK2??? The reason why is I might have a gig next month and I cannot find how much that camera weights.

Nick.

the XD needs a lot of power (like HD) so you will have to mount a battery on the camera
You will have to add extra weight on the bottom, so I think the SK arm can not handle the
XD.

I did not find the camera was particularly heavy, seemed to weigh about as much as a 600....

With all the little handy things included, matte box, external TC clock etc, camera will have the same weight as a SRIII.
